“I am an almost 70 year old woman, fairly active. Over the years, I’ve worked out with different trainers (weight, Pilates), taken different exercise classes and danced as a competitive ballroom dancer. I’ve had both knees and both hips replaced. Lately, however, I’ve noticed my balance does not seem to be as good as it was and I had difficulty getting off the floor without using my hands. I’ve been working with Kaitlin for a little over 2 months (twice a week) and the difference is amazing. My balance, flexibility and strength are much improved and I can get up from the floor now without using my hands or something for support. For me, that has been huge! Kaitlin challenges me and watches everything I do like a hawk to make sure I’m using the proper technique to get the greatest benefit. I’ve never had a coach or trainer who pays such close attention and has gotten such great results in such a short time. She’s great to work with—gives you funny analogies to remember how to do something and is very nice. I think her combination of skills make give her a unique and helpful perspective. Not only is she a certified Pilates instructor and personal trainer, but she is a professional dancer with an MFA in Choreography—all meaning she knows how the body moves and how the muscles work. “I started a 12 session series with Kaitlin late summer 2021. After years of a desk job and a baby, I was really struggling to get back to my prior workout routines and was having a lot of pain after pushing myself in a workout. I also was feeling very achy in my lower back for hours each morning. Kaitlin tailored our sessions to address my problem areas and gave me clear instructions for exercises to do between lessons. It felt slow at first, but then I started to learn and appreciate all the micro-movements Kaitlin was taking me through to strengthen my core and beyond my.
